Regicide is a brutal strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe from Games Workshop. Blending board-game strategy mechanics with dynamic tactical abilities, Regicide is a brand new, bloody take on a strategy classic. Command unique Space Marine Chapters and Ork Clans, each with their own special ability sets, fight for varied game objectives, and call in strikes from off the board as you face off in multiple game modes. Battle across a single-player Blood Angels’ campaign. Challenge opponents worldwide in both ‘Regicide’ and ‘Classic’ matches online, with ELO-rated stats. The two modes differ in that classic mode is based on traditional chess rules and regicide mode adds tactical abilities into the mix.
From the beginning, Evolve's mission has been to Game. Better. Together.
It hasn't been easy. We've stumbled. We've fallen. But we've always found a way to get back up. A little over a year ago, you may recall that we shared word of an amazing new partner that reached out to us when we needed it most. Since that time we've worked to build a common vision for uniting gamers around the world. Today we are pleased to announce that Evolve is officially merging with Player.me.
For those who haven't heard of Player.me, it's a gaming community from the makers of XSplit and Challonge. Together, Evolve and Player.me are becoming a super-platform that helps you create, share, and socialize with other gamers. As part of this, Player.me is also announcing the ability to track gameplay statistics. This feature is fully compatible with Evolve and will allow our members to bring over their full gaming history (and friendships).
In a lot of ways, we see Player.me as the spiritual successor to Evolve, and have been working to make the transition as smooth as possible. Everyone is encouraged to migrate their accounts now to take full advantage of Player.me's features and unlock a few extra goodies along the way. It should go without saying that we think that the wealth of features offered by the Player.me app will make for a welcome upgrade.
As part of all this, the Evolve app will be retiring on December 13, 2018. You will be able to use the Evolve 1.0 client until then. Note: the evolvehq.com website will be staying up for an indeterminate amount of time so that we can give folks ample opportunity to find our new home.
